Karl Gude: Michigan State University

Karl Gude, currently Graphics Editor in Residence at Michigan State University’s School of Journalism, spent more than 30 years visualizing information for places like Newsweek and the Associated Press, where he was the Director of Information Graphics. His job was to visually explain a variety of complex topics for readers ranging from medical, technological and scientific breakthroughs to breaking news and business stories. Now, as an instructor at MSU, he teaches courses in visualization as well as Social Media Marketing and the Creative Process and does professional consulting in all three of these areas.
